FLOWER SERVICES

If flowers are damaged within the first 24 hours after purchase or delivery, we can offer a partial refund or replacement. You will need to email clear photos of the damage and proof of purchase to hello@isherwoodandco.com within the 24 hour period. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or mis-care of flowers in your care after 24 hours.

Please note that flowers and plants are highly fragile and perishable items, and due to their nature, can perish without warning.

Please also note that different flowers have different lifespans, some blooms may only last a few days and others much longer. Care notes are offered with flowers, and we recommend following the advice to help prolong the life of your flowers.

We recommend that you ensure someone is in to receive the deliveries to minimise exposure to the weather which may damage your flowers. 

If the delivery is not received by the recipient, It is your responsibility to inform us of a suitable safe place. Our driver will photograph the flowers left in the safe place for proof of delivery, though if taken by a neighbour at your request, we do not take photographic evidence. We cannot be held responsible for any resulting damages.

Flower bouquets are available for either click & collect or delivery. Orders must be placed by Friday at 10am for collection or delivery the same week. Orders for collection are available during our opening hours only. Orders for delivery will be made on Thursdays or Fridays and are only available to the following postcodes: B30, B31, B29, B14, B13, B15, B17. Orders made for delivery outside of these postcodes will be cancelled. Any order made after the cut-off time will be available for collection the following week, unless otherwise specified for a future date.

Click & Collect simple bunches are for collection only. Orders must be placed by Friday at 10am for collection or delivery the same week. Orders for collection are available during our opening hours only. Any order made after the cut-off time will be available for collection the following week, unless otherwise specified for a future date.

Other flower subscription services, such as the Simple Bunch Click & Collect Subscription or the Bi-Weekly Florist’s Choice Bouquet Subscription, must be created by Friday at 10am for collection or delivery the same week. The subscription will run indefinitely until it is cancelled by the customer or no longer offered as a service. If there is an issue with payment, we cannot guarantee flowers that week.

CLICK & COLLECT ORDERS

We are open for click & collect orders through our online shop. Orders must be made by Friday at 10am in order to be fulfilled in the same week. You can collect from the shop during our opening hours (which are subject to change).  Any orders made after Friday 10am will be processed for collection the following week.

When you come to collect your order, please observe and practise recommended social distancing. Orders can be collected from our door counter, you will not be permitted to enter the store.

It is your responsibility to inform us of your preferred collection date. We aim to have your order wrapped, and packaged - ready to collect. Failure to collect on that date, may result in your order incurring damage (especially to flower or plant orders which are perishable) which we cannot be held responsible for.

All of our plants, flowers, and accoutrements leave the shop in perfect condition. Please check that your order is correct before you leave. We are not responsible for any damage to plants or accoutrements once they are in your care, including on your way home from the shop.

All sales are final, and we cannot be held responsible for any damage, mis-care, or longevity once the item has been collected by the customer. We do not offer returns or refunds on perishable products that have been purchased in or collected from our shop.

ORDERS VIA ROYAL MAIL

Please note, at this time we are only offering postal delivery for our gift vouchers. 

Royal Mail have advised that delivery may be delayed due to excessive demand on their service caused by the Covid-19 crisis, up to 14 days from dispatch.

It is your responsibility to check your order details prior to purchase. Any changes requested after purchase cannot be guaranteed to be made prior to dispatch. We cannot be held responsible for any clerical errors on your part.

Our P&P costs differ depending on type of product, quantity, weight, and size of the envelope/parcel. The cost includes all packaging (all fully recyclable), labour, administration, and the cost of the postage itself.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Paper gift vouchers are available to purchase through our website and are only redeemable in person via brick and mortar shop.

Online gift cards are only redeemable in our online shop. Online vouchers are not currently available to purchase, but if you already have one, you are able to use it in our online shop.

When purchasing online, paper gift vouchers will be posted to the shipping address provided at check out. Please note, dispatch of gift vouchers are usually made within 2-3 days, though they may be delayed upto 7 days under current uncertain circumstances. We cannot be held responsible for any delays etc. once in the Royal Mail postal system. 

It is your responsibility to check your order details prior to purchase. Any changes requested after purchase cannot be guaranteed to be made prior to dispatch. We cannot be held responsible for any clerical errors on your part.

Paper gift vouchers are valid for 12 months unless stated otherwise on the gift voucher. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we are extending the expiry dates of paper vouchers only as follows:

  • If your voucher expires in March or April 2020, you have until 30th June 2020 to use it.

  • If your voucher expires in May 2020, you have until 31st July 2020 to use it.

  • If your voucher expires in June 2020, you have until 31st August to use it.

  • If your voucher expires in July 2020, you have until 30th September 2020 to use it.

  • If your voucher expires in August 2020, you have until 31st October 2020 to use it.

Paper gift vouchers can be redeemed in the brick and mortar shop only. Paper gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online as they are not integrated with our online systems, however, when you make a purchase for click & collect, you can bring your paper voucher with you to redeem its value. Our team will issue a refund via the means in which the item was originally purchased for the value of the voucher (or the value of the purchase, if less than the voucher’s total) in exchange for the voucher. The refund cannot be made without the paper voucher in hand.

Online gift cards can be redeemed in our online shop only and are not integrated with our in-shop systems. Online gift cards have no expiry date.

Gift vouchers and gift cards are not refundable in any circumstances, nor is any cash given for the difference between the value of the gift voucher/card and the items chosen to be purchased with the voucher. Any remaining value not redeemed in a single purchase can be redeemed at any time before the gift vouchers expiry date.

Our general Terms and Conditions will apply to all purchases made with a gift voucher.

REFUND POLICY

We take great care in ensuring our items are of the highest quality possible and we only sell items that we would be happy with ourselves.It is your responsibility to check your items for quality when you collect your item. Once items have left our premises, they are your sole responsibility.

We offer both verbal and written care advice for your plant purchases, such as how often to water, what level of light your plant needs, etc., as well as suitable packaging to ensure your items are protected on their journey to their new home. It is your responsibility to care for your items once they have been purchased.

Please note that flowers and plants are highly fragile and perishable items, and due to their nature, can perish without warning.

Please also note that different flowers have different lifespans, some blooms may only last a few days and others much longer. We will advise you on which flowers have the longest life and offer advice on how to prolong the life of your flowers but we cannot be held responsible for any deterioration once the flowers after the initial 24 hours in your care. We will accept returns on accoutrements within 14 days of your receiving your order. However, we cannot accept returns on plants unless the plants have arrived damaged and are unable to be revived in your care, which you must notify us of with photos within 24 hours of receipt. WORKSHOP BOOKINGS

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown and current social distancing guidelines, we have made the decision to cancel all of our in-person workshops until further notice. All workshops have been cancelled and all participants have been refunded.

PRIVACY POLICY

Isherwood & Co won't sell or give away your personal information to anyone.

During our new operations due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we may transcribe your personal information in a register of orders. For example, we create delivery routes with your contact number and delivery address for all deliveries and postal orders, or registers for our click & collect orders with your name. This information is only accessible to our staff and archived at the end of the seven-day period.

We use Squarespace for our website hosting and Royal Mail for our deliveries. It is your responsibility to check with their specific policies on storing your information.

We do not keep any of your credit or debit card details on our systems. This is all handled by our payment processors, Stripe, PayPal or iZettle who make sure everything is safe and secure, and it is your responsibility to check their individual T&C’s. 

We do not collect your email address when requesting a receipt via email in the shop. It is solely for our payment processing systems to send you the receipt via email.

If you have subscribed to our marketing newsletter to stay informed of our news, products, and promotions, you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time. We use MailChimp to send the newsletter. 

If you have given us your contact information for a specific reason, the information will only be used for that purpose and will not be stored or used for other purposes.

We may print your name and contact number if you have booked onto a workshop, to act as a register and we may have to share this with external tutors or venues who may be directly involved with the workshop. Any printed materials containing your personal details will be destroyed after the workshop.

Isherwood & Co. is a small business, run by real human people. Unlike large corporations and other businesses, we can’t offer things like free delivery, free returns, or reply to your messages immediately.

We want all our customers to be happy with our services and products, and do everything within our power to ensure this, but there are limitations to what we can offer.
